Billing and plans

Manage your Runtype subscription, review invoices, and update payment methods.

Access billing

Use these steps to open Billing and review your plan and usage:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Billing.
  3. Review your plan, credit balance, usage, invoices, and spend cap.
  4. To update payment details or subscription settings, click Manage billing.

Available plans

No plan limits the number of Flow executions you can run. Your billing state does not change that limit. Plans differ by features, and Runtype bills platform-key usage from prepaid credits. For details about limits that can pause executions, see Rate limits and usage.

Launch (free)

Use the Launch plan with these features:

  • Start with a 0pay−as−you−goplan,a14−daytrial,and0 pay-as-you-go plan, a 14-day trial, and 5 in signup credit.
  • Use platform keys with shared rate limits. You can’t bring your own key (BYOK) on this plan.
  • Run unlimited Flow executions.
  • Use unlimited Surfaces.
  • Invite unlimited team members.
  • Use prepaid credits with auto-top-up.

Team ($399 per month)

Use the Team plan with these features:

  • Pay 399permonth,or399 per month, or 3,999 per year (2 months free).
  • Run unlimited Flow executions.
  • Use unlimited Surfaces.
  • Use BYOK.
  • Receive 50permonthininferencecreditsthatrolloverupto50 per month in inference credits that roll over up to 100.
  • Invite unlimited team members.

Enterprise (custom pricing)

Use the Enterprise plan with these features. You can use self-hosting, also called bring your own cloud (BYOC):

  • Use custom limits.
  • Get a service-level agreement (SLA) and priority support.
  • Use custom integrations.
  • Export Flows and Agents and run them on your own infrastructure with Self-hosting (BYOC).

Upgrade your plan

To upgrade your plan, follow these steps:

  1. Click Upgrade or open the billing portal.
  2. Select a plan.
  3. Enter your payment details.
  4. Click Subscribe.

The billing portal applies an upgrade immediately and prorates the current billing period.

Downgrade your plan

To downgrade your plan, follow these steps:

  1. Open the billing portal.
  2. Select a lower plan.
  3. Confirm the change.

The billing portal applies the downgrade at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan features until then.

Billing portal

Click Manage billing to open the billing portal. Use the portal to:

  • Update your payment method.
  • View and download invoices.
  • Update your billing email.
  • Change your billing address.
  • Cancel your subscription.

Usage-based charges

Runtype bills platform-key usage from prepaid credits with auto-top-up. The meter counts calls to AI models and built-in tools, not Flow executions. You do not pay per Flow execution or an execution overage on any plan.

Set a monthly spend cap in Settings > Billing. The cap pauses new executions when your month-to-date spend reaches the cap. When you use BYOK, pay your AI providers directly for model costs.

For current usage, open Settings > Usage.

Payment methods

Your billing portal shows the payment methods available for your account. Runtype supports these payment methods:

  • Credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
  • Automated Clearing House (ACH) bank transfers for Enterprise accounts.
  • Invoice billing for Enterprise accounts with annual contracts.

Invoices

Use the billing portal to review your invoices. You can:

  • Receive invoices at your billing email each month.
  • View and download invoices in the billing portal.
  • Review an itemized usage breakdown.

Runtype charges for platform services only. When you use BYOK, your AI providers bill model costs directly.

Cancel your subscription

To cancel your subscription, follow these steps:

  1. Open the billing portal.
  2. Click Cancel subscription.
  3. Provide optional feedback.
  4. Confirm the cancellation.

You keep access through the end of your current billing period. After that period ends, your account returns to the Launch plan, the free plan.
