  2. Click Resend verification email

Account locked

If your account is locked after multiple failed login attempts:

  2. Or use password reset to unlock immediately
  3. Contact support if the issue persists

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

These steps apply if you have two-factor authentication enabled on your account.

Lost 2FA device

  1. Use backup codes provided during 2FA setup
  2. If no backup codes, contact support with account verification details

2FA code not working

  1. Ensure device time is synchronized
  2. Try next code (codes expire every 30s)
  3. Use backup code if available

Never share your password or API keys with anyone, including Runtype support. We will never ask for your password.

Session expired

If you’re logged out unexpectedly, sign in again. Sessions can expire after a period of inactivity; the exact session lifetime is governed by Runtype’s authentication configuration.
